Land's End SBBreedekloof winery Du Toitskloof has obtained the well-known Elim wine brand Land’s End. Known for its cool-climate Sauvignon Blanc and Syrah, Land’s End put Elim on the map to some degree and was a Hidden Valley-Fairview joint venture until recently. The brand was sold to Du Toitskloof for an undisclosed sum.

According to a media release, the reason for the acquisition is to allow Du Toitskloof to engage at the top end of the market. The first two wines that Land’s End’s new owners will put onto the market are a Sauvignon Blanc and a Shiraz. Grapes for Land’s End wines are be sourced from Elim with the option of incorporating other sites in the Southern Cape.
