Fram Chenin Blanc 2015

Kerrang!

According to the latest edition of Platter’s, the 2015 vintage of Fram Chenin Blanc from Thinus Krüger  was made from grapes sourced from Piekenierskloof, Swartland and Bottelary whereas previous vintages where W.O. Citrusdal Mountain.

Very expressive on the nose with a top note of potpourri before citrus, yellow peach and even a hint of pineapple plus some lanolin and earth. The palate meanwhile displays impressive fruit concentration offset by snappy acidity and there are layers and layers of flavour to be discovered with each sip. Entirely rock ‘n roll.

#WinemagRating: 95/100.
