Wine of the day over lunch at Jordan restaurant yesterday was the Mellifera Noble Late Harvest 2009. From Riesling, it showed a really wide flavour spectrum – lime, peach apricot and that touch of mushroom which I think defines really smart botrytised wines. A sophisticated offering – plenty of stuffing without be weighty or thick-textured and not too sweet.  Great with a selection of cheeses.

Score: 91/100.
