La Complicite 2011La Complicité 2011, a Stellenbosch Colombard which underwent some barrel maturation, is made by Micu Narunsky, Israeli born jazz pianist turned winemaker. He heads up the cellar for Anatu Wines in Stellenbosch but also does stuff under his own label such as this.

Quite full with gentle acidity, I found flavours of lime cordial through lemon cream biscuits. It’s entirely charming and Narunsky deserves extra kudos for managing to fashion something decent out of Colombard. It’s R96.50 a bottle from Vino Pronto in Gardens and I scored it 15.5/20.
