Does what it says on the label.

Seven Springs Vineyards is the property situated between Hermanus and Caledon of UK businessman Tim Pearson.

The maiden vintage Pinot Noir 2011 is immensely likeable – clean red fruit but also a touch of more savoury character, medium bodied and well balanced. The label carries the designation “Young Vines” and it shows – the wine could be a little more concentrated without sacrificing finesse but this should come with time.

Score: 15.5/20 and at R114 a bottle nobody can accuse Pearson of profiteering given how many dead ordinary examples of Pinot sell for much more.
