In much awaited news, Karl Lambour, the general manager of Stellenbosch cellar Tokara, has informed Winemag.co.za that Stuart Botha, currently of Eagles Nest in Constantia, will replace the outgoing Miles Mossop as winemaker. Botha and Mossop will work the 2018 harvest together, Mossop’s notice period ending on 31 May.

Stellenbosch winery Tokara has announced that winemaker Miles Mossop will be leaving after 18 years to pursue opportunities to develop his own brand, Miles Mossop Wines. Mossop will remain part of the Tokara team for 2018 harvest while he hands over the baton to his successor.
