Stellenbosch winery Tokara has announced that winemaker Miles Mossop will be leaving after 18 years to pursue opportunities to develop his own brand, Miles Mossop Wines. Mossop will remain part of the Tokara team for 2018 harvest while he hands over the baton to his successor.
The Pinotage from Stellenbosch cellar Tokara first came to light for me when the 2007 vintage was judged best in class at the 2010 Old Mutual Trophy Wine Show.
