Fort Simon winemaker Stander Maass.

Fort Simon winemaker Stander Maass with his Chenin Blanc 2009. This wine was the second most highly rated at this year’s Wine magazine Chenin Blanc Challenge behind outright winner being Perdeberg Rex Equus 2008. The Fort Simon 2008 and second-label Fortress Hill 2008 were both rated 4 Stars in last year’s Challenge.

    Ag asb hul het vir arme Marinus die keldermeester gefire & toe sy ou assistentjie aangestel as”keldermeester” … dis `n groot naam wat met ondervinding kom hoor, mens besluit nie net een oggend jy is nou `n keldermeester nie!

      iets sê vir my jy was baie goed bevriend met “Marinus”… As jy in ‘n kelder al gewerk het in jou lewe, sal jy weet dis die “assistentjie” wat in anyway al die wyn maak en nooit die krediet daarvoor kry nie
