At this year’s  Old Mutual Trophy Wine Show, the Chenin Blanc Trophy was for the first time named after my late dad Harold Eedes, who founded WINE magazine in October 1993. On the right of this picture is Pierre Wahl of Rijk’s Private Cellar in Tulbagh who won for the Rijk’s Chenin Blanc with a Touch of Oak 2009
