Doing his thang...

In an article entitled “Bono in Boland loo ‘adventure’” in today’s Sunday Times, it is reported that the U2 lead singer accidentally walked into the women’s toilet at Pierneef à La Motte, the restaurant at the Franschhoek winery owned by Hanneli Rupert-Koegelenberg. He apparently apologized to occupant Ciska Wied by saying “Oops, that was an adventure!”

The band were enjoying a meal there post Friday night’s Cape Town concert and according to the blog of Hein Koegelenberg, husband of Rupert-Koegelenberg and La Motte managing director, the band “enjoy(ed) Cape winelands cuisine and our Shiraz Viognier, Shiraz and Sauvignon Blancs” (see here). Not being able to tell the gents from the ladies after a long lunch? Hey, it happens to the best of us…
