wine stainsJosie says: “Partook of the delicious, light-hearted Splattered Toad Sauvignon Blanc 2009 to celebrate the simultaneous win and non-promotion of Bafana Bafana on Tuesday. You’d imagine such a bittersweet victory would have necessitated a more appropriately tricky Pinotage, but considering that my company at the time were white wine drinkers, not to mention my own oceanic consumption ability, I can’t think of any better libation.

And what a delightful contrast to my present condition it turned out to be – bright, fresh and quite charming. All for a good cause too: I believe I could be single-handedly responsible for conserving a swimming pool’s worth of Western Leopard Toads since yesterday.”

Here you get to reminisce not just about bottles drunk but also great meals eaten and the crazy, crazy gang that was there at the time. Send photos and brief comments to widlneditor@gmail.com. Feel free to use a pseudonym and your email address will not be published.
