Lauren says: “Last night I made my first risotto, crammed with Portobello mushrooms, lashings of Beyerskloof Pinotage, baby spinach, tossed with parmesan and pine nuts. Enjoyed with a good friend, it was even better paired with a Jason’s Hill Pinotage 2005, still packed with lots of sweet juicy strawberry fruits with lovely smooth well integrated tannins. It was really delicious and after having visited the farm’s website this morning, I hope to make a trip out to Rawsonville soon to hike their trail…which hopefully ends in the tasting room!”
