W.O. Cape Town announced

Cape TownA new Wine of Origin District named after Cape Town has been approved by the South African Wine and Spirit Board, the formal announcement made yesterday.

Cape Town is one of the world’s foremost tourism brands and the motivation behind the new demarcation is for South African wine to attract even greater international attention. The wards of Constantia, Durbanville, Philadelphia and Hout Bay will be included  in the district.
