Winemag.co.za is excited to announce its sale to Eileses Capital, the San Francisco-based investment firm which also recently acquired the two Stellenbosch properties Warwick and Uitkyk.
Wine magazine was published from October 1993 until September 2011 and now lives on in digital form as winemag.co.za. The change of ownership sees a growth plan and the requisite investment capital being put in place to ensure that the site remains essential reading for all those interested in South African fine wine. The executive team of Christian Eedes (editor) and Jacqueline Lahoud (business manager) remains unchanged and editorial independence is retained.
Eileses Capital was founded in 2016 by Kishore Bopardikar and Charles Marston, the two having worked together since 1991 and possessing extensive experience in the technology sector.
