Wine Enthusiast’s The Enthusiast 100 of 2014 – Two SA wines

US magazine Wine Enthusiast recently released The Enthusiast 100, its top picks of the year. In determining the list, the numerical ratings but also drinkability, availability and quality-to-price of the more than 17 500 wines reviewed in the past 12 months ratios are taken into account.
Two South African wines featured:
76. Mullineux Straw Wine 2013 – score: 95
99. Vin de Constance 2007 – score: 95
Top spot went to an Oregon Pinot Noir, namely Ken Wright Abbott Claim Vineyard 2012, which scored 97.
