Prescient Fund Services Spring Series 2026: Call for entries

Category Reports, sponsored by Prescient Fund Services, are being released this year across four seasonal series: Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer. The Autumn and Winter Series have already been published, with the Spring Series next.

Entries are now open for the following Spring Series reports:

Chardonnay
Cabernet Sauvignon
Cape Bordeaux Red Blends

Wines will be assessed by a panel chaired by Christian Eedes, other judges being James Pietersen and Jolette Steyn-Prior, of leading wine retailer Brice & Burnett as well as hospitality and wine specialist Francois Rautenbach. Entries close on Wednesday 2 September. 

Prize

The producer of the best wine overall in each of the respective categories wins shipping services worth R10 000 from Aspiring Couriers.
