Think of Colombard as a rather plain variety? Think again. The trio behind Patatsfontein Chenin Blanc have come up with a blend of 90% Colombard and 10% Chenin that’s wonderfully light and crisp but by no means frivolous.

Patatsblanc 2015

Svelte.

Patatsblanc 2015
Wine Cellar price: R135
W.O. Montagu. A pretty and expressive nose of white flowers and white peach. Pure fruit with lovely acidity and a pithy finish – a striking wine which also happens to be entirely smashable.

#WinemagRating: 91/100.
