Anysbos-Disdit-2018

Done and dusted.

Anysbos Disdit 2018
Price: R280
60% Chenin Blanc, 25% Roussanne and 15% Grenache Blanc. A pretty nose with a floral top note before citrus and stone fruit, some waxiness and spice. The palate is both intense and complex, the wine moving well through the mouth with plenty of side palate to go with a great entry and long finish. Weighty but not too much so, there’s also lovely tangy acidity lending verve.

Editor’s rating: 96/100.

Anysbos Grenache 2017
Price: R280
20% whole-bunch fermentation, maturation lasting 20 months in old oak. The nose shows rose, lavender and fresh herbs to go with red cherry. The palate is medium bodied and possesses a slight sweet ‘n sour quality – juicy fruit and grippy tannins make for a very appealing if slightly rustic drop.

Editor’s rating: 90/100.
