The Tesselaarsdal brand was founded in 2015 by long-standing Hamilton Russell Vineyards employee Berene Sauls, the wine made by colleague Emul Ross. The nose of the 2017 shows wild strawberry, red and black cherry plus beetroot while the palate displays plenty of juicy fruit, bright acidity and soft tannins, the finish gently savoury.
