Terre Paisible appoints Adam Mason as consultant winemaker

Terre Paisible is a new Franschhoek undertaken by Robert Levy, founder of TMB bank in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The property that will be home to the brand is 45ha in size with 11ha under vineyard while lemons and olives are also farmed. Adam Mason, previously at DeMorgenzon before becoming self-employed in mid-2021, has been consulting as winemaker since November last year.

Top-end wines will appear under the Terre Paisible label while the second label will be known as Vigne D’Or.

Shirley van Wyk, previously global marketing manager for Boschendal, is managing director and plans are afoot to build a spa, villas, restaurant, art gallery, cellar and olive press.
