Capaia Sauvignon Blanc 2015

Softly spoken.

Capaia, situated on a Philadelphia hillside between Durbanville and Darling, has really produced the goods with its Sauvignon Blanc 2015 (price: R70 a bottle).

A top note of citrus blossom before lime, green melon and black currant on the nose. Lovely fruit expression and really bright acidity before a long, pithy finish. It’s a wonderfully understated, elegant offering. Abv 13.5%. RS 2.1g/l, TA 6.9g/l and pH 3.26.

#WinemagRating: 90/100.
