Lenuzza Vineyards Pinot Noir 2020

Daniele Lenuzza is a winemaker from Friuli in Italy, married to South African-born Tanika. They return here regularly and have added a Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge Pinot Noir to their portfolio. Vinification involving 30% whole-bunch fermentation and maturation lasting 15 months in mainly older oak, the nose shows cranberry, raspberry, musk, fynbos and white pepper while the palate is light and fresh with a saline finish. A wine with a nice tensions and delicacy about it. Price: R380 a bottle.
