TSW current releases

The TSW wines from Trizanne Barnard of Trizanne Signature Wines aren’t quite “entry level”, line-priced as they are at R130 a bottle, but they have plenty of popular appeal and won’t leave you feeling short-changed.

TSW Sauvignon Blanc 2020
W.O. Cape South Coast. A hint of flinty reduction before lime, blackcurrant and fynbos. Light-bodied, pure fruit and zippy acidity.

CE’s rating: 89/100.

TSW Cinsault 2020
W.O. Swartland. Matured for four months in old oak. Cherry and plum plus a little reduction on the nose while the palate is juicy and fresh with soft tannins.

CE’s rating: 88/100.

TSW Syrah 2020
W.O. Swartland.  Matured in 500-litre barrels for 12 months. A hint of reduction before red berries, pepper and spice on the nose while the palate is light and fresh with powdery tannins, the finish nicely dry. As ever, a really charming wine.
