Buri, a new casual eatery from Belly Restaurant Group founders Neil Swart and Anouchka Horn, has opened on Harrington Street, Cape Town. The concept reimagines the classic boerewors roll with a custom bun and boerewors developed with Frankie Fenner Meat Merchants.

The menu features three boerewors rolls: the Classic with boerewors and fried onions; the Farmer with smoor; and the O.G with garlic mayo, chilli chutney and rocket. Once a month, Buri will also introduce a Buri of the Month, giving the team space to showcase different sausages as well as play with different toppings, sauces and combinations.

Other restaurants in the group include Belly of the Beast, Galjoen and Seebamboes.

Every time we go back to the Cape my partner doesn’t consider herself home until her mom has made boere rolls.
I’ve just told her about Buri, she is excited for our next visit at Christmas.
