By Christian Eedes, 4 December 2013
After 30 years the IWC is making a fundamental change to its judging schedule. There are now two separate tastings to accommodate “the different production and sales schedules across the industry”. Tranche 1 wines were tasted in November and Tranche 2 wines will be tasted in April next year.
Local wines to win gold in Tranche 1 as follows:
Guardian Peak Lapa Cabernet Sauvignon 2011
La Motte Pierneef Shiraz Viognier 2011
Nederburg Wine Masters Reserve Noble Late Harvest 2011
