Stellenbosch winery Tokara has announced that winemaker Miles Mossop will be leaving after 18 years to pursue opportunities to develop his own brand, Miles Mossop Wines. Mossop will remain part of the Tokara team for 2018 harvest while he hands over the baton to his successor.

    Your newsletter list of possible candidates to replace Miles omits someone ideally suited to the Tokara ethos, and most deserving of elevation – Adam Mason.

      Hi Greg, Mason undoubtedly a good candidate but I suspect Tokara management would ideally want someone without his or her own label and Mason of course has Yardstick Wines.
