Standard Bank Chenin Blanc Top 10 Challenge 2016: Call for entries

Chenin Blanc Top 10 logoEntries for the third annual Standard Bank Chenin Blanc Top 10 Challenge are now open and all South African Chenin Blanc producers are welcome to enter.

The wines will be judged over three days from 5 to 7 July. The panel includes chairperson Christian Eedes; Jamie Goode, a London-based wine writer and judge, Higgo Jacobs, who is certified with the Court of Master Sommeliers; Cathy van Zyl, Master of Wine; Samarie Smith, wine writer and judge; as well as associate judge Tinashe Nyamudoka, Head Sommelier/Beverage Manager at The Test Kitchen.

The producers of the Top 10 wines will receive R20 000 each, the prize money to be used to reinforce economic and social benefits in the workplace. The awards ceremony announcing the winners will take place on 24 August at Delaire Graff Estate in Stellenbosch.
