Cederberg Chenin Blanc 2020

By , 1 December 2020

Chenin for Sauvignon Blanc drinkers. That’s essentially what the 2020 vintage from Cederberg amounts to with the juice processed reductively, before inoculation and four months of lees contact in tank.

The nose shows citrus, guava, green apple and a slight herbal note while the palate is thankfully not too lean given a rather bristling acidity, the finish long and pithy. Price: R100 a bottle.

CE’s rating: 90/100.
