The Cape Wine Company was founded by Erlank Erasmus with help from Fairview’s Charles Back in 2010 as a vehicle to develop new wine products, the Erasmus Family Red 2014 at R295 a bottle being its premium offering.
WO Swartland, it’s a blend of 50% Carignan, 30% Mourvèdre, 10% Grenache and 10% Shiraz, maturation lasting 14 months in mainly older French oak barrels. On the nose, red and black fruit, scrub and spice. The palate meanwhile has lovely fruit expression being rich, juicy and very flavourful and it carries its 14.5% alcohol well. Make no mistake, it’s smooth textured and polished but has enough balance to provide satisfying drinking.
#WinemagRating: 91/100.

Hi
I have an empty bottle of Erasmus Family 2014 wine made up of Carignan, Mourvedre, Grenache, and Shiraz. Is there a way we can get more of this wine and if so, where can we get a hold of it?
