Gabriëlskloof Amphora Sauvignon Blanc 2021
Price: R220
Fermented and matured for 10 moths in locally made clay amphorae ranging in size from 500 to 800 litres. Relatively neutral on the nose although notes of citrus, peach and some earthiness can be detected. The palate is rich and round with tangy acidity and a gently savoury finish.

CE’s rating: 90/100.

Gabriëlskloof Whole Bunch Syrah 2021
Price: R180
100% whole-bunch fermentation before eight months maturation in stainless steel tank. Beguiling aromatics of red and black berries, violets, lavender, fynbos, pepper and spice. The palate is lighter and fresher than you might expect given an alcohol of 13.8% – a juicy and accessible drop.

CE’s rating: 91/100.
