Klein Constantia Sauvignon Blanc 2021

By , 2 February 2022

The construction of Klein Constantia Sauvignon Blanc is nothing if not meticulous, the 2021 vintage assembled from over 40 different blocks, winemaking involving 25% skin contact for 12 hours and 80% spontaneous fermentation.

The result is a sophisticated, polished rendition of the variety. Subtle aromatics of blossom, white peach, grapefruit and dried herbs with the vaguest flinty note in the background precede a palate that shows good weight and fruit expression, nicely creamy in texture with well-integrated acidity. Price: R165 a bottle.

CE’s rating: 92/100.
