Sauvignon Blanc makes up 85% of the La Motte Pierneef Sauvignon Blanc 2021 with 35% of these grapes from Napier and 65% from. The 15% Semillon that completes the blend is also from Elim.
The nose shows a pronounced herbal top note before green apple, citrus and peach plus lots of leesy character. The palate meanwhile has massive weight to go with driving acidity. In short, it’s a blockbuster. Price: R159 a bottle.
