By , 13 July 2020

President Ramaphosa in his address to the nation last night announced that liquor will be banned with immediate effect in order to lessen the strain on health facilities – this includes the sale, distribution and dispensing of liquor although exports are still allowed. While South Africa will stay at Alert Level 3, the wearing of masks is now mandatory and a curfew has been put in place between 21h00 and 04h00.
