Coronavirus regulations: Ban on alcohol sales remains in place

According to an announcement by President Cyril Ramaphosa last night, South Africa will remain on Alert Level 3 seemingly indefinitely in an effort to contain Coronavirus infections. Most of the measures announced on 28 December 2020 including the ban on alcohol therefore remain in place. The curfew has been slightly shortened with it now ending at 05h00 instead of 06h00.
