Following a government briefing earlier today, the sale of liquor in licensed premises will be permitted from 1 June 2020 between Mondays and Thursdays from 09h00 and 17h00. However, onsite consumption is prohibited, and e-commerce fulfilment will be permitted subject to the same onsite trade days and times. All wineries, craft breweries and distilleries are allowed to sell from their premises to the public. All restaurants, hotels, bars and taverns that carry a licence will be able to sell liquor in sealed containers for home consumption effectively turning these into bottle stores. The prohibition on any transportation of alcohol drops on Friday 29 May in order to ease pressure on the supply chain.
