Dombeya Wines: In sickness and in health…

Albert and Charlene
In a nifty piece of product placement, Stellenbosch winery Haskell Vineyards announced today that its wines have been chosen to be served at the wedding of Prince Albert II of Monaco and Charlene Wittstock, a former South African Olympic representative. The wedding ceremony will take place in July this year.
According to the media release, Haskell Vineyards’ “foundation brand” Dombeya will be poured exclusively at functions in Monaco and South Africa during nuptial celebrations. Prince Albert has apparently been a regular visitor to the winery over the past five years.
Backstroke swimmer Wittstock was a member of the South African women’s 4x100m medley team at the Sydney 2000 Summer Olympics, which finished fifth. Haskell Vineyards is owned by Preston Haskell, a wealthy American businessman based in Moscow.
Now for Warwick at Will and Kate’s wedding in April. Come on, Mike, you can do it!
