Gary Jordan along with wife Kathy and winemaker Sjaak Nelson clearly know a thing or two about how to make Chardonnay. Nine Yards 2011 and CWG Auction Reserve 2011 are rated 5 Stars in Platter’s 2013, this latest accolade coming after the Nine Yards 2010 won the international trophy for Chardonnay over £10 at this year’s Decanter World Wine Awards as well as the trophy for best in category at the International Wine & Spirit Competition, while the Barrel Fermented 2011 rated 5 Stars in my Chardonnay Report released at the beginning of this month (see here).
