Uitkyk , the Stellenbosch property of nearly 600ha, has been purchased by The Uitkyk Domain, a South African company ultimately owned by The Paulsen Familiae Foundation, which holds worldwide investments in both real estate as well as wine and spirits producers and distributors.
The rejuvenation process was already begun in 2018, while under the ownership of Warwick, with a strong focus on vineyard health, and despite the change in ownership of Uitkyk, there will be close collaboration during the transition period, which includes the 2023 harvest.
Uitkyk has been sold as a going concern.
