A.A. Badenhorst Family Wines Ramnasgras Cinsault 2014
By Christian Eedes, 3 November 2015
How good can single-variety Cinsault be? Pretty bloody amazing in the case of Ramnasgras 2014 from a vineyard planted in 1956 from A.A. Badenhorst is the answer.
Wild strawberry, dried rose petals, fynbos, earth, pepper and spice on the nose – all very delicate, subtle and alluring. Lovely fruit expression, bright acidity and super-fine tannins on the palate. A pleasure on every level to drink.
#WinemagRating: 94/100.
