Robertson property De Wetshof makes various examples of Chardonnay, the Finesse sitting pretty much in the middle of the range, the 2019 selling for R147 a bottle. Discreetly oaked, the nose shows citrus, white peach plus some herbal character while the palate is light-bodied with zippy acidity and a pithy finish. Most elegant.
