In the General Index both Chenin and Sauvignon are divided into wooded and unwooded, with a small category for Chenin off-dry either unwooded or wooded. It’s only in the Five star tasting that Sauvignon is separated between unwooded and wooded (with different panels tasting each), Chenin is tasted as one category. I also wondered why this was, when I was on the Wooded Sauvignon panel, and intend finding out from the Ed/those who organise the 5* tasting. I agree, it doesn’t seem to make sense.

Hi Bernard, Good question. Any body from Team Platter’s care to comment?

  • Bernard De Boer10 January 2019

    Hi Christiaan,
Why is there a wooded and unwooded Sauvignon Blanc division and not for others like Chenin?

    Regards

Platter’s has traditionally only been available in English. Time to make it available in German, Dutch and Mandarin???
