Grace 2020 as made under Rousseau’s own label again features Constantia grapes, this being a blend of 86% Sauvignon Blanc and 14% barrel-fermented Semillon. The nose shows lime, lemon, grapefruit, fresh herbs and a hint of white asparagus while the palate is full and relatively thick textured offset by punchy acidity, the finish nicely savoury. Well balanced, unshowy, and rewarding. Price: R110 a bottle.
CE’s rating: 92/100.

We have supported Rosseau wines for as long as these wines have been available. Andre is exceptionally talented. A wooded sauvignon blanc that is light but full bodied is an incredible achievement.
